Day two of E3 2021 was busy with the Xbox and Bethesda joint conference, followed by the Square Enix launch, but even more game announcements came from the PC Gaming Show. If you don’t have time to catch up in the full 90 minutes, we’ve rounded up some fun highlights from exciting and upcoming games that you’ll want to add to your Steam Wishlist.

Rawmen

In fact Splatoon but with food, Rawmen is a third-person arena shooter in which instead of weapons you fight with food against two to eight players. Throw soup at your opponents, transform into a human meatball by jumping into meat juice and rolling home, or fly into the air using donut bombs.

In this space western 2D game, you play as a three-armed mutant hunting for dangerous rewards across the galaxy. From the visuals, animation, music, everything is just steeped in style and a lot of ultra brutality as you fight your way through each level.

Far away: changing tides

Far away: Lonely sails was a minimal, lonely, but powerfully meditative experience as you planned your journey through a post-apocalyptic environment where nothing but yourself and a unique piece of car junk. So, continuation, Far away: changing tides comes as a wonderful surprise. It looks even prettier, and this time you are piloting a ship through a flooded world while trying to keep your car moving forward, saving parts of the ship during your travels.

Next space rebels

Rocket science simulator with storytelling, Next space rebels has an amateur DIY feeling Kerbal space program when you are trying to build a rocket motor that can actually start. However, connected with this simulation is the story told in the FMV commercials, when the fictional hacker group Next Space Rebels calls on the world community to independently build and launch rockets and “democratize the universe.”

Soulstice

The name may imply a shameless Souls clone, but Italian developer Reply Game Studios also draws inspiration from Japanese action games like Devil May Cry as well as anime from the early 80s. Another influence could be Platinum Games’ Astral chain since you control two characters at the same time; two sisters were named Briar and Lute, one of whom possessed superhuman strength, and the other a ghost with mystical powers.

Lemnis gate

In this turn-based first-person shooter with a cyclic time loop, you have to take control of each member of your team one at a time, playing a round that only lasts 25 seconds. It was first announced last year, but its release is just around the corner, as the latest trailer confirmed. Lemnis gate will be released on August 3 on PC, as well as on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One. An open beta is also coming out in July, so players can get an idea of ​​how this fast-paced gameplay works.
