Fantastic streaming service FuboTV finally arrives on LG TVs

FuboTV, one of the best services for sports fans, is finally arriving on the new LG Smart TVs.

While the app was already available on many set-top boxes such as Apple TV or Chromecast, it is now available on LG’s own webOS platform on 2018-2021 Smart TV models (including LG’s fantastic OLED displays). This will give all consumers with newer LG models the ability to access over 100 sports and entertainment channels of the service directly from their devices, rather than relying on a third-party device to access.

“More than 90 percent of FuboTV’s viewers are on the big screen, and today’s launch on LG Smart TVs expands FuboTV to even smarter and more connected TV platforms,” said Mike Berkeley, FuboTV’s director of products. Facets

Starting at $ 65 a month, FuboTV offers one of the most trusted sports catalogs out there, although it also has a plethora of entertainment and news channels. ESPN, ESPN 2, Olympic Channel, CBS Sports Network, Big Ten Network, Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2 and beIN Sports are among the channels available at the basic service level.

But FuboTV really stands out for its additions to sports packages, which offer a greater variety of additional sports channels than similarly priced live broadcast services such as Hulu with Live TV or YouTube TV. However, regional sports networks are quite limited, but this is an ongoing problem that affects almost all OTT streaming services, not just FuboTV.

LG Smart TV users can now easily record an entire series with one click, customize their guide with their favorite channels, and add up to six user profiles, each supporting personalized recommendations and recordings for specific users.

Unfortunately, one of the best features of FuboTV, the MultiView tool that supports up to four simultaneous channel streams, is still limited to Apple TV, a company spokesman said. Facets… But at least you will be able to use the app on your trendy LG OLED screen without the help of a third-party device, flash drive or dongle.
