No leading figure in the country has announced as many projects as Prabhas – three – since the pandemic began last year, but the downside – the ongoing second wave of COVID-19 has peaked. Baahubali the star is the hardest.
The film, directed by director Naga Ashwin, was due out earlier this year, but in the meantime, Prabhas announced two films – “Salar” directed by Prashant Neel and an untitled sci-fi film to be directed by Nag Ashwin.
And the actor has already started working on Aadipurush, directed by Om Rout. But the filming of the film has stopped due to a blockage in Mumbai. The producers decided to move to Hyderabad when the Telangana government also announced a lockdown.
Prabhas fulfilled one schedule Salar a couple of months ago, which indicates that he first pushed for her release. However, the second wave of COVID-19 stopped this shooting as well. Prabhasa-Naga Ashwin’s film also proved to be an obstacle.
The actor is currently pondering how to promote his various projects. He is expected to negotiate with the relevant directors shortly and inform them of the filming schedules.
